Arti Deshpande, Senior Technology Solutions Business Partner, Robert Stines, Senior Technology Counsel, and Mike Vaughan, Chief Data Officer, have co-authored an Article for CIO.com titled, “Your biggest AI risk might be that employees don’t know they’re using it.”  The article outlines five key strategies to build AI literacy and reduce organizational risk.

Awareness – Help employees recognize when and how they interact with AI tools in their daily workflows.
Participation – Involve teams in shaping AI policies to increase clarity, relevance, and adoption.
Reinforcement – Use microlearning and regular touchpoints to strengthen understanding over time.
Role-Based Training – Tailor education to specific job functions and risk levels across the organization.
Measurement – Track completion and comprehension to ensure training translates into responsible behavior.

“By enabling employees to recognize, question and engage responsibly with AI, organizations empower their workforce to innovate with clarity and confidence. That’s the real goal of AI enablement: not just protecting the business from what could go wrong but preparing it to move forward successfully in an AI-enabled world.”
