Everyone is talking about the financial headwinds facing the U.S. healthcare delivery system without offering solutions. At Brown & Brown, we have ideas for healthcare employers to consider that could have a dramatic impact on their organizational efficiency and their bottom line.
Join us to gain insights into how healthcare organizations:
- Use existing clinical relationships to improve the performance of their employee health plan, keeping care delivery in the Accountable Care Organization (ACO) for a more integrated and cost-effective experience.
- Leverage the tools and processes developed for ACO patients to ensure employees receive regular primary care preventive health visits, active monitoring of chronic conditions, referrals to the most cost-effective specialists and timely follow-up after ED visits and hospitalizations.
- Incorporate domestic pharmacy resources into an employee benefits package, helping to reduce waste and better manage drug spend.
- Creatively manage organizational risk by adjusting policy terms to better reflect risk tolerance or creating a captive to better use scarce financial resources.
